Welcome New DRI Board Member: Michelle Cross
Michelle Cross
DRI International is pleased and proud to welcome Michelle Cross to the Board of Directors. Cross is the National Practice Leader, Business Continuity Planning for Wells Fargo Insurance.
“Michelle has been of great service to DRI,” said DRI President Al Berman. “She’s a noted industry professional and a fantastic addition. Her positive energy and capacity for creative thinking will prove a tremendous benefit to DRI and the larger business continuity community.”
“I am honored to serve on the DRI International Board of Directors,” said Cross. “As a Board member, my primary goals are to protect the value of DRI certifications and maintain DRI’s leadership and influence in the preparedness community. I will look for ways for DRI to provide thought leadership to certified professionals and industry practitioners; foster collaboration with public and private sector partners to expand and enhance community preparedness efforts; and support targeted growth opportunities in the U.S. and internationally. In her role at Wells Fargo, Cross provides business continuity planning and preparedness consulting services with a primary focus on the areas of business continuity, crisis management, crisis communications, disaster preparedness, and violence prevention. She is a Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), and a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). She has extensive experience working across multiple industries including manufacturing, chemical, hospitality, finance, professional services, healthcare, real estate, education, and retail.
