After the Floods – A Great Time for a Business Continuity Conference!
Businesses all around the Houston area are recovering from the flooding caused by recent torrential rains. As a consequence, DRI’s next one-day conference, held April 23 at the University of St. Thomas, couldn’t come at a better time.
The conference is featured in the Houston Chronicle’s recent piece on the need for business continuity, particularly for organizations that are often hit hardest by disaster conditions:
Having a disaster recovery or business continuity plan can help guide employers through the aftermath of such disasters and help them remain in business.
‘Companies that are hit the worst are small and medium-size businesses,’ said Al Berman, president and CEO of Disaster Recovery Institute International.”
Area business owners are welcome to attend the event, where speakers will present on extreme weather, cybersecurity, and other major issues facing organizations of all sizes. The cost is a $50 donation to the DRI Foundation. And DRI certified professionals will receive 8 Continuing Education Activity Points (CEAPs) for attending.
We look forward to seeing you there!
