Ryan Miller serves as Director of Emergency Management for Howard County, MD. He is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Associate in Risk Management (ARM-E), and holds DRI’s CBCP and CBCLA certifications. He also received the 2018 DRI Award of Excellence for Program Leader of the Year – Public Sector.

Larry Twele

Howard County Economic Development Authority
Larry Twele has served as CEO of the Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA) since 2013. Most recently, he and his team were recognized with the Transsformational Excellence Award by the Maryland Economic Development Association and the Unsung Hero Award from the Small Business Administration for their efforts in the ellicott City flood recovery.
