A Message to the DRI Community about COVID-19
I want to take this opportunity to reach out to you about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and share what DRI is doing to continue supporting you. We know that you, our DRI certified resilience professionals, are actively responding to this public health crisis. We have tremendous faith in your skills and dedication and we are beyond proud to be associated with such tireless and innovative professionals. We are here to support you during this unprecedented global response.
At DRI, we are practicing what we preach and taking steps to ensure both our resilience and your safety. We are moving all of our courses online through at least the end of April and will continue to monitor the situation to determine whether we will need to extend further. Additionally, the DRI team is adhering to all social distancing guidelines.
The DRI Foundation has already set up a Global Pandemic Fund. We will donate 100 percent of the money collected to small, local organizations that are an integral part of their communities. We know that many will be hard hit by this crisis, and we will do all we can to boost resilience.
We are grateful that so many of you have taken the time during this acute phase of the response to check in with us. Be assured that we will be in touch with you as learnings emerge from what is now an active response. That said, we respect that your time is best spent doing your job, not answering our questions. We understand that lessons learned are best collected and disseminated once some degree of normalcy has returned. We will continue to add resources for your use to our Library. And while no one knows for sure how this situation will evolve, we are steadfast in our belief that there will be inspiring stories of resilience to tell. We look forward to sharing them with you.
