Join community management expert Lisa Orloff on Aug. 19 at 2:00 p.m. ET for an overview of effective disaster exercises to assess your business continuity plan. The webinar will review the key learning objectives of successful models, including DRI’s Professional Practices for Business Continuity Management and The Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Plan (HSEEP). The training is meant to be flexible, scalable, and adaptable so that participants can adapt what is useful to the size and type of organization.
About the Presenter:

Lisa Orloff is the president of Resiliency Advisors, LLC, and founder and president of World Cares Center. Throughout her career, Ms. Orloff has equipped community leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead their constituents during times of crisis. Her work includes supporting survivors and responders during the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and extensive work with communities affected by Hurricane Sandy in New York. She also has led relief efforts for the 2010 Haiti earthquake and Hurricanes Katrina, Irene, Matthew, Harvey, Maria and Florence.

Orloff is a nationally recognized expert on spontaneous community volunteer management. She has served as an adjunct faculty member or guest lecturer at Pratt Institute, Long Island University’s United Nations program, Harvard School of Public Health and St. Johns College of Criminal Justice.

Attending this webinar will earn DRI Certified Professionals one Continuing Education Activity Point (CEAP) toward recertification.
