From the President: Thank You for DRI2022!

I’m pleased to report that DRI2022: The Business Continuity Conference, our 10th event, was a huge success thanks to the energy and dedication of our community of resilience professionals! It’s been almost exactly two years since the last in-person industry event, DRI2020 in Savannah, Georgia. This work is essential and there is still no better way to share stories, dream up new ideas or learn about the latest technologies than face to face whether in a session or over a coffee in the exhibit hall. That’s why we made the decision, after much deliberation, that it was just too important to forego yet another year. So a HUGE thank you to the team who took this courageous leap of faith with me and made this happen. There are simply too many to thank by name. We recognize that not everyone will emerge from the pandemic unscathed. Our hearts are heavy for the losses that have touched the lives of our community. The pandemic also reminds us of vulnerability, compassion, and the value of reflection. DRI is here with you to celebrate the good moments, work through the challenges, and to honor the accomplishments of our resilience community. Lastly, I’m excited to announce that DRI2023 will be in the tech hub, Austin, Texas. I don’t know about you, but I’m prepared to stand shoulder to shoulder in line with strangers for brisket!
