DRI International Renews Partnership with DRI Canada
Business continuity practitioners in Canada will have continued access to world-class DRI courses and certifications — DRI International and DRI Canada have renewed their International Affiliate Operating Agreement (IAOA)!
“We at DRI International are very pleased to renew our agreement with DRI Canada as our local representative to serve this important market,” said DRI President Chloe Demrovsky. “We are happy to share innovative ideas and solve problems together across the border as we work side by side to serve our growing global community. Over the years, our working partnership has both broadened and deepened — we consider ourselves lucky to have such a strong working relationship and we look forward to building on our foundation of success into the future.”
The IAOA, originally signed in 1996, was renewed as part of DRI2018 in Nashville, TN, Feb. 10-14. On hand for the event was John Yamniuk, recently named President of DRI Canada. DRI is excited to continue working with him in this new capacity. Yamniuk also presented gifts to both Al Berman and Chloe Demrovsky in honor of the transition in DRI leadership.
The initial creation of the Canadian Centre represented one of the first significant milestones in DRI International’s plan to enhance its global presence through the establishment of self-supporting affiliates world-wide. The certification of qualified individuals and the promotion of the credibility and professionalism of certified disaster recovery and business continuity professionals are key components of DRI’s global mandate.
